KITESURFING

We are located right at one of Scandinavia’s best kitesurfing spots. A spot for beginners and pros alike. Practice tricks or learn the basics on the flatwater within the wave barriers or go outside and slash some big waves when the wind is firing.

Villa Surf Garden is located in Ugglarp, but you have a plethora of spots nearby like Olofsbo, Ringsegård, Ringenäs, Västra Stranden, Påarp and Lagan.

THE SPOT

Ugglarp kitespot, our new home. It can also be yours for a couple of nights!

SUP

Stand Up Paddle Board – SUP is increasing in popularity every year and it’s not that hard to understand why. Imagine one of those summer evenings when the sun is setting, and the ocean looks like pure magic – that is the time when you bring the dinner with you and have a SUP-tastic dinner with friends on the ocean. Or bring the SUP out to catch those waves that are a tiny bit too small for your regular shortboard.

NO WIND? LET’S SUP!

We drive you to a drop off at Suseån. From there you paddle down the beautiful creek for 1-1,5 h until you reach the beach where we meet up and bring you back.

YOGA

Yoga is a truly great experience for the body, mind and the soul. Our instructor has over 15 years of experience practicing yoga and wants you to have a great and relaxing time. We always set the level for the group or individual’s best; everyone can participate!

MORNING YOGA

Let’s start the day with a yoga session, find balance and peace for the mind, soul and body! We go through positions, conscious breathing, mental focus, relaxation and meditation. Try out yoga and its proven healing effects, e.g. lower your stress level for your body and mind and learn more about yourself and your body.

HIKE

If the ocean is our front yard, then the forest is our back yard. You have endless tracks and trails nearby and there is a variety of terrain. Bring the lunch with you and make it into a hiking day. Start at the ocean and maybe go for a swim, venture into the forest, climb a lookout post or run through the beautiful fields. You know about “Allemansrätten”, right? It more or less says that everyone has the right to explore Sweden’s nature.

WAKEBOARDING

When there’s no wind on the forecast, and we still want to go out on the water making big airs and handle passes we go wakeboarding. Halmstad Wake Park is nestled in an old quarry just next to the ocean and Grötvik’s harbor. This serves as a great destination for a couple of hours.

BIKE

Bikes sure are a great way of getting around, aren’t they? We have a collaboration with RAW-Bikes here in Sweden that manufacture great, small electric bicycles. Use them for free as transportation to the kite spot or take them for a longer journey to experience the coastal road. Prins Bertils Stig is a well renowned 18 km trail near Halmstad that you can walk or bike and serves as a great daytrip.

PADEL

Do you prefer activities with a racket in your hand? Then you should try padel if you haven’t already. Padel is a racquet sport from Spain that has become immensely popular in Sweden and especially in Halmstad. You can practice it outdoors or indoors and there is a wide range of facilities for this within 30 minutes. One little warning though, it’s highly addictive!

GOLF

Being out in nature for 5 hours with friends and family on a sunny day while swinging the clubs – count me in! In the area around Halmstad and Falkenberg you will find a staggering amount of golf courses at your disposal. No wonder Halmstad is called the golf capital of Sweden. Play at the king of courses – Halmstad Golf Club (Tylösand) with its dual park course layout, giving you a tour standard all the way from the parking lot to the last green.

WHAT MORE CAN I DO?
